  • A "First" for us!

Merle and I were given the privilege to watch our grandson for four wonderful hours last evening.  His father had something planned, and his mother wanted to go hunting.  She called and wondered if we would be at home, and would we watch him while she went!! Any other plans were immediately put on the back burner!

Helping to clean the truck! Both got wet!

They spent time unloading the wood Merle brought home, splitting some wood (Isaac wanted him to "do it again"), feeding the cats, washing the truck, with lots of bonding time.  After supper, they read stories and played with the toys in the dining room.  It does not seem real that he will be three this December.  Time is going by fast.

  • What a sweet little boy.  I'm sure it was wonderful having him there, and you could do so many things together.  Wonderful memories for all of you.

  • Little Isaac is quite the handsome little man!  So Valerie likes to hunt too.  My two daughters both used to hunt.  Zonya is married now and lives in NYC.  Joy is in nurses training.  She comes home weekends.  I don't know if she will hunt this year or not.  It is bow season out here and my son has gone out several evenings, but no deer came close enough for bow.  Thanks, Grace, for praying for a beautiful "Howard day".  Whatever weather God's sends will be OK.  It is His day too.  Albert

  • Your last sentence of time going by so fast.........wow! Isn't that so true? I wonder if the people a couple hundred years felt this way? Or do we bring it on ourselves?
    God bless ~E
