  • 5:00 AM -- we have SNOW!!!  The ground is turning white!  Wonder how long it will come for us, Abbeville is having light rain.  We are just inside the "wonderland" band of weather!  My parents are here, and at 4:30 AM we were all looking at the SNOW, and then the others went back to bed while I got ready for work.  I actually get to go out into the "wonder" world of white!

  • Wow I'm sure that is a rare sight for you to see.  I think we're in for mostly rain/sleet today. 

  • I just measured 13 in. of white stuff on our front deck yesterday.  Do you want some more?---I'll send it your way!  ~Jo

  • We southerners are so deprived.  You sound like me.  I've been known to sleep on the sofa on "predicted snow nights" with the TV tuned to the Weather Channel, so that I can wake up every hour to look outside to see if anything has happened.   How much did you get?  After the system passed through your area, it came this way.  We had a dusting today, but the "winter storm advisory" for our area for overnight was cancelled by late this afternoon.

  • Snow in South Carolina? How strange. We here in Southern Illinois have had a very mild winter, and we've had mild winters for a few years now. I sort of miss being able to go out each day and see the ground blanketed with snow.
