  • Thank You Lord

We now have HOT water!  The water heater had leaked in the kitchen, making a mess of the floor. Up comes the linoleum and a couple underlay boards to let everything dry out.  When Merle got the new heater, it would not fit where we had it before, so he has spent all his spare time the past week under the house. He had to send a new set of water lines to the back porch and set the heater up next to the washer. This will eliminate the problem in the kitchen again!

Pray for Elizabeth, she is sick and on medication. We were glad she was at IFM and could see the doctor.

I have a friend that is ICU, so I will be going there after teaching Sunday School this morning.

The weatherman is calling for 3-6 inches of snow tonight!  The wind is really STRONG this morning! Maybe we will see snow before bedtime tonight!

  • When you tell of the ordeal you have had with the leaking h/w tank, and how your husband Merle was able to repair it, I just think how very blessed you are to have such a talented and persistent repairman right in the family!  In fact to be married to him! What a bright, healthy attitude you have personally, too! Some women would be pouting and complaining and driving hubby absolutely miserable! Not you - you're every bit as much a part of the solution as Merle is!

    God bless you both!

    God's peace!

  • Grandpa David said it so well.  We are blessed to have our own personal repairmen, aren't we?  We're having snow right now, the most we've had all winter, and enjoying it too, every bit.

  • We are blessed aren't we? I wish for my aging parents sake it would be warm again. I think this cold weather is really hard on them. They don't go to church when it's too cold. Praying for your friends who are in the hospital.God bless.
